We look forward to seeing you for the final residential from 3rd - 5th October, 2018.


Arrival: Wednesday 3rd October @ 9.30am (allowing for time to get through security with your Photo ID).

Finish: Friday 5th October @ 3.00pm (transfer to the station leaving at 3:15pm)

NB. If it is easier for you to arrive on Tuesday evening rather than travel on Wednesday morning please let me know and we will arrange dinner on site and an extra night of accommodation for you.

Photo ID - REQUIRED

We are privileged to be guests of the British Army at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and must provide photo ID in order to gain access to the site.

Accommodation

Sandhurst is not a hotel and all amenities will need to be brought.

You will need to bring:

  • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash & hairdryer

  • Towel

  • Dressing gown and slippers/ flip-flops (for the short walk to the bathrooms)

  • Walking shoes & waterproof jacket for morning walk (recommended to arrive in this)

  • Umbrella

  • Water bottle

  • Journal!

What to expect

As a military facility, the accommodation is basic. You will be staying in Victory College, where the rooms are simple and the beds are single.

Shared bathrooms, known as ‘ablutions’, have communal sinks but private showers and baths. Corridors and bathrooms are single sex.

The wifi is good.

All sessions during the day will be held in the beautiful Old College, a 10-minute walk from Victory College, and all dinners will be held on site.

A coach transfer will be provided at 9:10am on the 3rd of October from Farnborough station to the venue. A return transfer will also be provided at 3:15pm on the 5th of October from the venue to Farnborough station. 

If you take non-recommended travel you will need to organise your own transport.

If you are driving I will need the number plate of the vehicle. There is ample parking. 

Only certain taxi companies are allowed on site. These are listed below. If you take another taxi company you will have to walk from the gate which is approx a 15 minute walk to the accommodation and a 25 minute walk to the day venue.

Sandhurst is a formal environment so the dress code is smart casual at all times.

  • No jeans or T-shirts are permitted.
